From Our Founder

We speak for sickle cell Warriors who now speak through us. We’d rather have them here – healthy and thriving – but for so many reasons, they fell to this condition that is too often misunderstood, under researched, and medically mishandled. One life lost to sickle cell is one loved one too many.
As the mom of a 26-year-old Winged Warrior, this hits home for me. This mission comes from my heart. My hope is to create a tribe for us. Let's build a place for healing through community and strength through impact.
At the end of every day, I want every Warrior to know that we’ve done everything in our power to ensure that you are strong in body, strong in mind. Alive, well, and living the heck out of your life.
Until that’s a reality, we’ll be here doing the work to make it happen. My promise to my Warrior is to make a difference in his honor.
That's my vow.
This is our VoWW.
