Help With Life
Sometimes life just. . ."lifes". . .so to speak. Warriors are more than their sickle cell and at times you might need help with other aspects of your world. Following is a list of resources for basic needs (food, shelter, clothing, etc.), mental health, finding health insurance, and other life challenges. You can also try reaching out to your local sickle cell community based organization:

Sickle Cell Consortium organizations

VoWW's phone number is not a crisis line. If you're having a medical emergency, please call your healthcare provider or 911. (Need a hematologist? You can search for one here.) We encourage sickle cell warriors and caregivers to use STAT when headed to the emergency room.
